A plein air painting done in Bunbury at Back Beach. The black basalt rocks are a feature of the end of the beach towards the lighthouse. It was a beautiful sunny spring morning, but with lots of gnats and bugs landing in the paint. I tried to scrape them off each time, but had to give up in the end. It adds authenticity?!!
